Young Artists: Printmaking Studio (Ages 8–12)
Dive into the exciting world of printmaking in this hands-on studio class designed for curious and creative young artists! Students will explore a variety of printmaking techniques while learning how artists use texture, pattern, layering, and repetition to create unique works of art.

Artists will carve their own linocut stamp designs and print them onto paper and tote bags, experiment with monoprinting using brayers and ink to create one-of-a-kind prints, and explore nature-inspired processes like printing with found objects and flower pounding techniques. Students will also discover the playful possibilities of gelli printing through layering, texture-building, and creative experimentation.

This class encourages artistic exploration, problem-solving, and self-expression while introducing foundational printmaking skills in a fun and supportive studio environment. Perfect for young artists who love to experiment and get creative with materials!
