Give your young artist the opportunity to explore acrylic painting while building real foundational art skills!

Over four weeks, students will learn painting techniques, experiment with color, and create original artwork inspired by the world around them.

🎨 WEEK 1 — MIXING PAINT

Learn the basics of color mixing while exploring tints, tones, and shades. Students will experiment with creating new colors and learn how different combinations can change a painting.

🍎 WEEK 2 — STILL LIFE

Learn how to observe and paint objects from life while exploring shape, color, composition, and proportion.

🐾 WEEK 3 — ANIMALS

Learn how to translate an animal from reference to canvas while exploring shape, color, texture, and detail.

🌲 WEEK 4 — LANDSCAPES

Bring everything together to create a finished landscape painting while exploring foreground, background, depth, color, and composition.
