• Creative projects designed specifically for ages 9-11

Week 1 — Henri Matisse: Cut-Outs & Color
Explore Matisse's bold colors and famous paper cut-outs.
Project: Create a large-scale paper collage inspired by The Snail or his later cut-out work.

Week 2 — Vincent van Gogh: Movement & Emotion
Learn how Van Gogh used expressive brushstrokes and color.
Project: Paint a landscape inspired by The Starry Night, focusing on movement and texture.

Week 3 — Pablo Picasso: Cubism & Portraits
Explore how Picasso broke objects and faces into shapes and different viewpoints.
Project: Create a colorful Cubist self-portrait.

Week 4 — Yayoi Kusama: Patterns & Infinity
Explore repetition, dots, pattern, and immersive art.
Project: Create a collaborative "Infinity Room" or a dot-pattern mixed-media artwork.

Give your young artist a chance to learn about 4 famous artists and put their own create twist on it as they explore, create, and build real art skills!

🎨 SESSION FINALE:
We'll wrap up our four weeks with a mini art show, where students can display and celebrate the artwork they've created throughout the session!
